Pikes Peak United Way looking for volunteers

COLORADO SPRINGS — Pikes Peak United Way is looking for volunteers to help take 2-1-1 phone calls this weekend and into next week.

The 2-1-1 system has been activated to help El Paso County Public Health with an increase in calls related to coronavirus, or COVID-19.

Those interested should be between ages 18 and 60, and not in the at-risk category for COVID-19.

Multiple shifts are available over the coming days from 9am to 7pm. Training will be provided on-site.
