Man charged with manslaughter following Thursday shooting in Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. (KOAA) — One man is dead following a shooting Thursday night, according to Pueblo Police.

Officers responded to a home along Acero Avenue after reports of a shooting around 10:00 p.m. When officers arrived, they found one man dead.

Other people at the home were taken to a local station for questioning, and police say Kalob Deyo, 23, was arrested and booked on a manslaughter charge, according to the department.

Pueblo police say this remains an active investigation; the Pueblo County Coroner will identify the man killed at a later date.

This is the city's 11th homicide in 2026, according to the department.
