PUEBLO, Colo. (KOAA) — The man killed in a shooting Thursday night on Pueblo's west side was Dasan Johnny Slim Halona, he was 19 years old.
Officers responded to a home along Acero Avenue after reports of a shooting around 10 p.m Thursday.
When officers arrived, they found one man dead.
Other people at the home were taken to a local station for questioning, and police say 23-year-old Kalob Deyo was arrested and booked on a manslaughter charge, according to the department.
Pueblo police say this remains an active investigation; the Pueblo County Coroner will identify the man killed at a later date.
This is the city's 11th homicide in 2026, according to the department.
