FOUNTAIN — Tiny homes and those that build the constructs and live in them, have once again been set up on temporary display at the Pikes Peak International Raceway.

The second annual event hosted by the People's Fest Team is aimed at "Sharing [their] love for simple living with thousands of enthusiasts and curious event goers."

Many in attendance as well as those presenting their homes, hope to increase the amount of access that is available to tiny house living situations.

According to one presenting family, downsizing and consuming fewer resources is of vital importance to aid the environment.

The event is hosting a multitude of tiny houses and simple living alternatives as well as presenting multiple speakers including Zack Griffin, star of the TV show, Tiny House Nation.

The event also aims to aid those in El Paso County that are suffering from PTSD. The event will present speakers who will cover the topic of tiny house communities specifically for veterans who deal with PTSD.

The event kicked off Friday morning and will run through Sunday evening, ending at 6:00 pm.
