COLORADO SPRINGS — One Colorado Springs neighborhood bar is dishing out positivity and smiles to every customer with sweet, cute, and fun handwritten notes placed on to-go cocktails.
Since restaurants and bar started serving to-go alcoholic beverages, Stir Coffee and Cocktails has taken it upon themselves to start hand writing notes on every single to-go cocktail.
The notes range from trivia to jokes to simple messages of encouragement and love.
"People seem to get a charge out of them and that's what we're looking for. Again, it's all about the smile at the end of the day," stated Aaron Stielstra, the bar manager.
Having successfully brightened days since the Spring, Stir plans to continue these 'messages on a bottle' for as long as they are allowed to sell to-go alcoholic beverages.
"If we can just keep spreading kindness," commented Aaron, "even if it's something as simple as [this], I think that it's going to make all the difference in the world for us banding together and continuing to support each other."
