A special legislative session today may bring some economic relief to the pockets of Coloradans thanks to stronger than anticipated sales revenue. But lawmakers say it will be just a stop-gap measure until Congress passes a second stimulus bill.

There will be eight bills they hope they can pass to address relief for small businesses, housing, and rental assistance, support for child care providers, and expanded broadband access for students.

Are you in favor of using Colorado taxpayer dollars to fund COVID-19 relief? Voting has closed for this poll — here are the results:

  • 58% voted no
  • 42% voted yes

Watch for another poll this Tuesday afternoon that we will follow and review starting at News5 at 4 p.m.
