(EL PASO COUNTY) – The hailstorm that swept through Fountain and southern Colorado Springs during the first half of July was much more than a minor inconvenience.
The hail, some measuring the size of softballs, ripped through trees, totaled cars, and leveled entire neighborhoods.
Several residents in the affected areas witnessed the hail punching through their roofs, letting in water and hail into their homes.
