PUEBLO — Pueblo Police are looking for answers after a shooting on the city's east side early Sunday morning.
Just after 3 a.m. officers responded to 15th Street and Troy Avenue on reports of a shooting. They arrived to find that a man and woman, who were traveling north on Troy Avenue near Constitution Road, have been fired at by the occupants in another car.
Police say the victim's vehicle was hit twice in the rear of the car, with one round entering the passenger's compartment. That round grazed the male drive in the side.
Officers found two spent shell casings nearby and the victims said they don't know why they were shot or by whom.
The victims described the suspect vehicle as a silver sedan, possibly a Lincoln, with “big rims.”
