Man dead after shooting in the Bessemer area of Pueblo Sunday, no arrests made

PUEBLO, Colo. — A man is dead after a shooting in the Bessemer area of Pueblo, according to the Pueblo Police Department.

It happened just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday on Elm Street, which is located near the intersection of I-25 and Abriendo Avenue.

Officers say they found a man who had been shot, dead at the scene. The name of the man will be released at a later day by the Pueblo County Coroner.

Police are investigating the incident as a homicide. At this time, no arrests have been made.

This is the 11th homicide in Pueblo this year, according to police.
