CSPD says boy who was kidnapped Tuesday afternoon has been found safe

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KOAA) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) was asking for help locating a boy who was kidnapped around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

Background Information

Police say two-year-old Giovani Salazar-President was in the back seat of a car that was stolen from the King Street Apartments, which are located near the intersection of North 30th Street and Uintah Street.

According to CSPD, the car that was stolen is a 2021 black Kia Seltos with Colorado license plate number DLH-W03. A picture of the vehicle is below:

If you know where the stolen car or Salazar-President are, you are asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
