EL PASO COUNTY — The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted murder.
According to the Sheriff's Office, it happened on Saturday around 2:50 p.m. in the 900 block of Harbourne Street.
Deputies said the suspect parked outside the victim's house, and contacted the homeowners. The suspect showed a gun and attempted to rob the victims. Then, one of the homeowners got a gun, and shots were fired.
The Sheriff's office said the suspect left the house and drove away in a black Cadillac Sedan with tinted windows and Alabama plates. The suspect is described as a 5'8" black male, approximately 45 years old and 200-230lbs. He is bald with a mustache and goatee, and was wearing dark pants and a teal Polo shirt.
