COLORADO SPRINGS — Saturday, more than 100 girls in grades 6 to 12 got the chance to connect with local professional women at Pikes Peak Community College.
The girls attended the event to learn the "secrets to success."
The event gave girls the chance to talk about career options with women working in a variety of fields, including law enforcement, the military, trades, STEM, and many more.
Some of the guests at the event included Colorado Spring Police Commander Tish Olszewski and Noreen Landis Tyson, who runs the non-profit, Community Partnerships for Child Development.
