COLORADO SPRINGS — You may have seen something unusual by the railroad tracks near the Olympic Museum.
It's the pedestrian bridge that will connect America the Beautiful Park with downtown.
Workers are doing as much assembly on the ground as possible before it gets lifted into place in late September.
"This is absolutely one of a kind. This has pushed the limits of everyone on the design team to be able to design and construct the bridge," said senior project manager Ryan Phipps.
The bridge came in six sections. When finished it will be 250 feet long.
