COLORADO SPRINGS — Widefield Parks & Recreation offered a mask-making night for both children and their parents Thursday.

The children were able to tie-dye their masks and parents sewed their own face coverings.

Organizers of the event said it was a great way to learn a new skill while safely socializing with others in the community.

There is no word yet if the recreation center will host another mask making night, but they say it's not out of the question.
