MANITOU SPRINGS — Intemann Trail in Manitou Springs will soon see a major re-route, and you can help.
The group "Manitou Cats" is looking for about 25 people to help contour a new route on a steep section of the trail. That takes place on Sunday, Sept. 8, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Organizers say it's an important part of the "Ring the Peak" Trail Project.
"This is a link that was built in the nineteen nineties before trail bikes were there, and we are trying to make this a multi-use trail," said Shanti Toll.
