COLORADO SPRINGS — Thousands of volunteers came together Saturday to serve the City of Colorado Springs at COSILoveYou's sixth annual CityServe Day.
CityServe Day is the largest city-wide day of service all year.
Local churches and businesses across the Pikes Peak Region volunteered their time to improve schools, parks, and neighborhoods.
For one of this year's projects, dozens gathered at Centennial Elementary School to clean the entire outdoor area and make cards for the teachers.
More than 80 total projects took place across the city.
