COLORADO SPRINGS — The Rocky Mountain Vibes baseball team made a special visit to the Colorado Springs Children's Hospital Wednesday.
Players and their mascot Toasty dropped in to visit patients, parents, and staff.
It was all part of the team's effort to connect with the community.
"When you see a patient get up and put a smile on their face, it really encourages the staff, the physicians, the nurses. Everybody has more motivation," said Director of Family Services, Shawna Grissom.
The Vibes have just four games left in first season in Colorado Springs.
