US Forest Service hiring over 900 temporary employees

DENVER — The USDA Forest Service is looking to hire temporary employees for over 900 job openings, according to a press release from the agency.

Temporary employees would work for the agency's 2020 field season across national forests in Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota and Wyoming.

These temporary jobs are available in a variety of occupations:

  • Fire
  • Trails
  • Forestry
  • Timber
  • Silviculture
  • Range
  • Engineering
  • Wildlife
  • Hydrology
  • Recreation
  • Fisheries
  • Archaeology
  • Botany
  • Customer service.
