COLORADO SPRINGS — UCHealth Memorial & Memorial North have updated their visitor policy this week and will now allow one visitor per patient.

In addition, all patients and visitors are asked to wear their own face masks into the hospital.

In the new policies, all visitors will be screen for COVID-19 symptoms before they are allowed to enter.

Patients being treated for COVID-19 are still not allowed to have any visitors, and no one under the age of 16 is allowed to visit the hospital.

Two parents will be allowed in the neonatal intensive care unit, and one person is allowed in for maternity patients, surgery patients and emergency room visits.

Exceptions to these new policies may be made for end of life care on a case by case basis.
