COLORADO SPRINGS — Robbery investigators believe the same two suspects are responsible for robberies just 20 minutes apart that targeted women in Colorado Springs.

The first victim called 911 around 9:40 p.m. to report two males in a dark sedan pulled up to her as she was sitting on the curb near Chapel Hills Mall. She told officers both suspects got out of the car, and one suspect pointed a silver pistol at her head while demanding her phone and purse. She also recalled seeing a third person driving the car.

At this time, police have not provided a description of the suspects.

Roughly 20 minutes later, another woman called CSPD to report she was robbed at gunpoint while on the 6500 block of Baytree Grove. That address is an apartment complex on the corner of Dublin Blvd. and Rangewood Drive. According to police, she provided the same description of two suspects and a driver.
