PUEBLO — Two groups in Pueblo are teaming up to help out local teenagers.
The Senior Resource Development Agency has opened its doors in downtown to the teens of Pueblo County Boys & Girls club since the SRDA isn't allowing senior citizens into the center because of COVID-19.
"We felt like it was really important for us to open our doors," explained Tara Morrow from the SRDA. "They have no place to go and these teens really depend on a place where they can come be safe and have a lot of fun too."
The Boys & Girls club is taking COVID-19 preventative measures like checking temperatures, wearing masks and washing hands.
The SRDA is open Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The club's Sprague location is also open.
