MONUMENT — According to the Tri-Lakes Monument Fire Department, a deceased body was found in Monument Lake on Monday.
The department says that they, along with Monument Police, responded to a water rescue Monday afternoon, but the victim did not make it.
TLMFD is reminding the community to use caution when recreating around water.
