COLORADO SPRINGS — A new traffic signal is being installed at Marksheffel Road and Meadowbrook Parkway Wednesday evening.

The El Paso County of Public Works says its contractor will start installing the signal at 6:30 p.m.

During this time, one lane in each direction on Marksheffel will remain open.

Crews will be installing "four new mast arm traffic signals" at the intersection.

Drivers are urged to be cautious and watch for workers, barricades and signs.

The county says the work is anticipated to be completed Wednesday night and should not impact Thursday morning's traffic.
