COLORADO SPRINGS — The names of the three people who died after a multi-car crash northeast of Peterson Air Force Base Sunday have been released.
Colorado State Patrol troopers said that the driver of a Honda CR-V was heading west on Space Village Avenue around 3:15 p.m. when they ran the stop sign at Marksheffel Road and crashed into an oncoming Ford F-150.
There were three people in the Honda and all three died at the scene. They have been identified as 75-year-old Margaret Martin, 58-year-old Douglas McCrill and 57-year-old Sherri McCrill.

The force of that wreck carried both those vehicles into the southbound lane of Marksheffel where they were hit by a Jeep Cherokee.
Two people from the Jeep were injured and taken to the hospital.
The driver of the Ford suffered minor injuries and took himself to the hospital.
Troopers do not suspect drugs or alcohol were involved.
