Teller County Animal Control seeking help finding suspect in abuse of dog

TELLER COUNTY — The Teller County Animal Control is asking for the public's help finding a suspect in an animal abuse case involving an injured dog.

The Teller County Sheriff's Office said a small white and tan Chihuahua type dog was reported limping in Woodland Park on Monday. When animal control arrived, they discovered further injuries around the mouth and nose.

The Teller County Animal Control is asking anyone to contact them if they recognize the dog or have any information that can lead officers to the person responsible.
