TELLER COUNTY — The Teller County Animal Control is asking for the public's help finding a suspect in an animal abuse case involving an injured dog.

The Teller County Sheriff's Office said a small white and tan Chihuahua type dog was reported limping in Woodland Park on Monday. When animal control arrived, they discovered further injuries around the mouth and nose.

You are asked to call the department at (719) 687-9652 and ask for Officer Trixie Hudspeth or Officer Kathleen Ruyak.
