COLORADO SPRINGS — A teenage boy was shot in the leg early Thursday morning near the Citadel Mall, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Officers were called to a parking lot near a business located in the 700 block of Citadel Drive E. around 2:30 a.m. and found the boy with one gunshot wound.
The boy was taken to the hospital to be treated. His injuries were not life-threatening.
CSPD said the investigation is still in its early stages and no suspect information was available.
