PUEBLO — This weekend, teachers in Pueblo can get their COVID-19 vaccines.
Local health leaders plan to vaccinate around 2,000 teachers from Pueblo School Districts 60 and 70.
This starts Saturday at the Pueblo Mall's mass vaccination site.
"This is a day we have been excited for and long awaited," said Pueblo School District 60's Dalton Sprouse, "and we are really fortunate that here in our community our health department has provided a vaccination a mass vaccination clinic to accommodate both school districts all in one weekend."
The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office is also working with licensed child care facilities to schedule their vaccinations.
