COLORADO SPRINGS — A man accused of robbing nine liquor and convenience stores in Colorado Springs over 10 days is in custody, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
The department said 32-year-old Joshua Ray Tenbrink robbed nine locations and attempted to rob four other locations between Nov. 5 and Nov. 14.
Police said Tenbrink drove two stolen vehicles during the string of robberies. He also used a handgun and long gun to point at victims during the robberies, according to officers.
The nine locations Tenbrink robbed were:
- Paul’s Liquor, 2842 East Pikes Peak Ave.
- Ruskin Liquor, 3960 Airport Rd.
- Circle K, 5670 Palmer Park Blvd.
- Everyday Convenience Store, 1823 N. Circle Dr.
- Academy Town Liquor, 1210 N. Academy Blvd.
- Valero, 4825 Galley Rd.
- Bluffs Wine and Liquor, 3609 Austin Bluffs Pkwy.
- Academy Town Liquor, 1210 N. Academy Blvd.
- Quart House Liquor, 2738 Palmer Park Blvd.
The four attempted robberies included two attempts at one location, according to the department.
CSPD said they found the two stolen vehicles during their investigation.
The Cripple Creek Police Department took Tenbrink into custody on Nov. 16 after CSPD received an arrest warrant.
