PUEBLO — Despite drought conditions, farmers say Pueblo's green chile peppers are a just few weeks away from being picked.
"As far as the sun it's beating down on these plants and making them hot and I think everyone who likes hot chile they are going to be blessed because we got some great stuff for them," said Rocky Musso.
Farmers say you can expect to see the Pueblo chile on farm stands and grocery store shelves across Colorado sometime around the end of July.
