PUEBLO — Temperatures have been soaring this week in Pueblo reaching 100 degrees or higher most days and that has people rushing to swimming pools in search of some relief.

This week the pools owned by Pueblo City Government tell us they have seen a 15% increase in traffic. At the Bessemer Pool there was a full house as soon as doors opened Friday morning.

This coming Monday people will be able to enjoy a free pool day at Mineral Palace Park in Pueblo, if you plan to attend, expect a large crowd.
