COLORADO SPRINGS — Area students have been taking part in Cyber Camp this week. It's held by experts from AT&T and sponsored by the Air Force Association.

On Friday, they held a Hack-a-Thon to find where breeches and weaknesses in the systems exists and how easily hackers can get it.

They say thinking like a hacker helps us be safer online.

So doing things like setting up firewalls, enhancing security and paying close attention to identified pieces of software in your computer.

Most of the kids are using what they learn to pursue possible careers in cyber security.

There will be over 200 sponsored cyber camps this year.
