COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado — Firefighters are mopping up following a structure fire in the Vista Grande neighborhood. It was reported at roughly 2:15 p.m. and heavily damaged a four-plex in the 5400 block of Fiesta Lane just south of the East Library.
Firefighters say the 15 people who lived in the building have been displaced. One resident had to be taken to the hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
It is unknown what started the fire and whether any of the structure will be in a livable condition soon.
