PUEBLO — If you or your relatives have ties to the steel mill in Pueblo, you want to consider nominating them for the CF&I Hall of Fame.

The Hall of Fame is a new initiative that was launched last year by the Steelworkers Center for the West. The goal is to capture and preserve the history of the mill and the people who made it run.

"We just thought, we needed to create a CF&I Hall of Fame to be able to have a lasting way to be able to honor these people and honor and share their stories," said Christina Trujillo, Executive Director Bessemer Historical Society.

Nominations are being accepted through the end of the year.

You can pick up a packet at the Steelworks Museum on Canal Street. Inductees will be recognized at a ceremony in February.
