COLORADO SPRINGS — In response to families and others who are not homeless, but are struggling to make ends meet, the Colorado Springs Rescue Mission will distribute food every Friday through June.

The added service comes from community support that helps keep people off the street.

"A lot of the food has been donated through individuals in this community. We've had folks who've have said 'how can we help,' and that's what we really try to do, is to be conduit of care," said Chief Development Officer Travis Williams.

Donations are accepted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Food is distributed from Noon to 3 p.m. on Fridays.

To date the Mission has not seen a positive COVID-19 case.
