COLORADO SPRINGS — The Colorado Springs Airport will offer reduced parking fees for long-term travelers over the holiday season.

Starting Nov. 15 until the end of the year the airport's Holiday Parking Coupon lets travelers park for half the regular rate. That means the normal price of $7 per day will be reduced to just $3.50 per day.

The airport sais that's much less than parking at DIA.

"Particularly if you're parked in the garage out in the close in parking lot, and it's a whole lot cheaper than that," said Director of Aviation Greg Phillips.

The airport is also looking at a future project that would offer solar powered covered parking for VIP travelers.
