PUEBLO — The first week of school for Pueblo School District 60 has wrapped up, and it says it was as smooth of a beginning as you can get.

D60 is one of the school districts that opted to have in school learning as an option.

The district said students and staff are following the coronavirus guidelines and said no COVID-19 cases were reported.

"High touch areas are sanitized hourly and then overnight every single school, the entire area is santized by our janitorial staff so we are taking every measure possible," said Dalton Sprouse of Pueblo School District 60.

D60's next goal is to get high school students back to in person learning.
