Ski Report: Mild start to the weekend with Sunday snow

Looking ahead this weekend, high pressure moves over Colorado which will lead to beautiful weather in the high country. Travel conditions to ski areas will be generally easy and dry heading up to the mountains, but you may encounter snow on the way down Sunday. The next chance of snow arrives on Sunday afternoon.

Friday: Temperatures at mountain bases will be in the 30s and 40s. Clouds move in through the day and conditions remain dry. Winds will be light.

Saturday: Conditions remaining sunny with high clouds. Temperatures peak for the weekend, again to the 30s and 40s. Wear sunscreen and stay hydrated while on the slopes!

Sunday: Temperatures cool by about 5-10 degrees as the next storm system moves in. Snow will move into the mountains through the day, in general remaining light with just a couple of inches in most ski areas.
