Travel into the high country will be snowy and hazardous in spotty on Friday due to snow and wind. Totals will generally be less than 4 inches in the central mountains along I-70 and northern mountains. The San Juans will continue to see snow Friday, after beginning Thursday evening, with storm totals up to a foot in spots.

Dry weather returns for the weekend with better travel weather expected. Temperatures will remain cold, in the 20s and 30s at most ski areas.
