COLORADO SPRINGS — Mother's Day is quickly approaching, but the COVID-19 pandemic has made it much harder to find the right gift this year.

Now shops in downtown Colorado Springs are trying to make it a little bit easier.

The Downtown Partnership has created an online portal for shoppers.

Some stores are currently open, but some people are not yet comfortable going inside. The online portal helps stores continue to bring in much-needed revenue.

"You can order it and have it delivered. You can pick it up curbside, or if you want to you can even come into the store and pick it up," said Laurel Prudhomme from the Downtown Partnership.

More than two dozen businesses have signed up for the new system.
