COLORADO SPRINGS — The Special Forces Foundation is teaming up with a local shooting range to honor fallen Fort Carson soldiers, and lend a helping hand to the families they left behind.

The fundraiser to help these families will be happening at the Magnum Shooting Center on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.

The proceeds will raise money for the family of these four fallen Fort Carson soldiers, who all recently died serving in Afghanistan.

"When the Special Forces Foundation came to us with the chance to participate and help these families out, we jumped right on it," said Mackenzie Spillane, a spokesperson for Magnum Shooting Center.

They're selling tickets for folks to come to their shooting range, and handing those proceeds directly to the families.

"We're putting that money in their hands so they can make the decision that they need to make with it," Spillane explained.

Folks will even have the chance to shoot with some of the best.

"Some special forces soldiers and kind of help show them how to and also we've got multiple range officers who will be on site to help," Spillane added.

"It's gonna be a fun day and also a chance to not only have a good time, but also know that everything you're putting into this is helping these families."

They want to prove everyone has a shot at helping out, and every dollar counts.

"That's a dollar that wasn't there before," Spillane emphasized.
"So basically there is no limit. Our goal is please come. please know the importance of this and please put forward whatever you can to help these families out."

Tickets are 50 dollars and can be bought online here or in-person tomorrow.

There will also be a raffle and silent auction taking place.
