FOUNTAIN — The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is alerting residents of a Sexually Violent Predator who moved to a residence south of Fountain.

The Sheriff's Office says 60-year-old Dennis Eugene Hase has moved into a residence located at 12090 Jordan Road.

Hase is described as 6’1” tall, 170 lbs., with white hair and blue eyes.

Authorities say Hase’s criminal history shows that he was convicted of Attempted Sexual Assault and Sexual Assault of a Child.

He is one of five Sexually Violent Predators currently registered with the El Paso Sheriff’s Office who reside in this community.

Under Colorado law, law enforcement agencies are required to notify the community when a SVP moves into the area.
