PUEBLO COUNTY — The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office announced Wed. night that an investigation is underway into the suspicious death of a toddler.
The PCSO said deputies responded to a call of an unresponsive toddler on Sept. 16 in the 400 block of W. Coral Drive in Pueblo West.
The child was taken to a local hospital and then later airlifted to a Colorado Springs hospital.
The PCSO said the child died on Sept. 18.
No further information has been released at this time.
