SAGUACHE COUNTY, Colo. — Authorities arrested a man who was considered armed and dangerous for an "alleged connection" to a murder in Saguache Sunday morning, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

The Saguache County Sheriff's Office said deputies responded to a home in the 800 block of Gunnison Avenue before 4:30 a.m. Sunday after receiving a report of an injured man. The man, who was in his 50s, died as a result of his injuries. The sheriff's office did not specify the injuries.

Authorities arrested 45-year-old Donald Garcia, of Saguache, in an abandoned camper early Tuesday morning in connection to this investigation. He is being held at the Saguache County Jail without bond and faces a first-degree murder charge.

The victim's name has not been released by the sheriff's office. The CBI said the investigation is still in the early stages, but it appears to be an isolated incident.
