COLORADO SPRINGS — Road work at the intersection of Marksheffel Road and Meadowbrook Parkway will begin Monday.
Marksheffel will be open during the project, but Meadowbrook will have intermittent closures. El Paso County officials suggests drivers take alternate routes.
The intersection project will include new traffic signals being installed, new turn lanes being added to Meadowbrook and some minor drainage modifications.
Officials said there will be future updates as the project moves through its phases.
Drivers need to watch out for workers, signs and reduce their speed going through this project.
