Road closures planned for Sunday's PrideFest Parade

COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs officials warn there will be several road closures downtown as the PrideFest Parade returns Sunday.

The parade starts at Tejon and Cimarron and ends at America the Beautiful Park. The following road closures will be in place for the parade:

  • From 8:30 a.m. to Noon, Tejon will be closed between Cimarron and Vermijo, and Costilla Street will be closed between Nevada and Cascade.
  • From 10 a.m. to Noon, Cimino Drive will be closed in and out of America the Beautiful Park.
  • From 10:30 a.m. to Noon, Tejon will be closed between Vermijo and Pikes Peak, Colorado Ave. will be closed between the Nevada Avenue alley and Walnut Street, and Cascade Avenue will be closed between Pikes Peak Ave. and Colorado Ave.

The parade is free and open to the public, but PrideFest admission at the park will cost $5 per person.
