COLORADO SPRINGS — Red Leg Brewing Company is setting its sight on a new location this year that will offer the brewery more space.

Todd Baldwin, Red Leg's owner, said when he started his company almost seven years ago, there were fewer than 10 breweries in Colorado Springs. Now, he says the area has almost 40 breweries.\

Red Leg is moving from its location on Forge and Garden of the Gods roads and moving closer Garden of the Gods Park.

"It's scary, it's exciting. It is this new sense of purpose within the community kind of resonated inside me, but also everyone who works here at Red Leg, a responsibility to deliver something great for them," Baldwin said.

The company had its groundbreaking event at 2323 Garden of the Gods Road on Dec. 13 with an anticipated opening date of September 2020.
