PUEBLO — Pueblo's permanent homeless shelter is close to being complete.
The Rescue Mission says it plans to open the building by mid-January because there were some delays in construction.
News5 was there Wednesday as people were getting a tour of what's done so far in the new facility.
"We are doing our level best to make all of this happen. When you know where we came from in this building and where we are now, it's really amazing," said Kathy Klein with the Pueblo Rescue Mission.
As for now, if you need a shelter to stay warm, the emergency shelter is open on 9th Street and Blake Street.
