PUEBLO — Groups around the country are partnering to help grow the bison population in the US.
The Pueblo Zoo is partnering with the Laramie Foothills Bison Foundation this year.
The zoo is dedicating 2020 to highlighting bison conservation efforts. Two purebred bison currently call the zoo home.
The bison is America's first National Mammal.
