PUEBLO — The YMCA in the Home of Heroes in Pueblo reopened Thursday with new COVID-19 guidelines.
People will now be able to enjoy the gym and workout center in a limited capacity.
Some of the guidelines the YMCA has to follow include checking people's health at the door, social distancing and cleaning the facility throughout the day.
"We are just ecstatic to have people back in seeing their smiling faces, not through a camera or not over a phone, and not through a email," said McCall Knecht, senior director of Marketing and Development at the YMCA. "To have that human connection is the best."
The YMCA plans to host classes in their next phase of reopening.
