PUEBLO — The YMCA in Pueblo is making is possible for children to return to in-person daycare next week.
Starting Monday, Aug. 17, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. the YMCA will offer daycare.
Time will be designated for homework help, physical activity, and playtime, the "Y" said.
"We're here to serve the community and right now that is the need of the community, is to have a safe structure place for kids to go and the YMCA is a licensed program, so it just was a natural fit for us to help support the school districts, support the families, and help develop our youth of this awesome community," Marketing and Development Director McCall Knecht said.
Every child and staff member that enters the building will be given a temperature check and have to answer wellness questions. Extra cleaning and sanitizing will be done and children 10 and older will be required to wear a mask.
