One man's invention is saving taxpayer money in Pueblo West.
Albert Martinez created a shoulder box for one of the the district's road graders.
The tool is meant to widen roads and take some of the workload off employees. This in turn saves the district about $60,000.
"It's nice to know you can make something out of nothing, and if it's help full, which it is, it makes you feel good inside," said Martinez.
The tool was created from spare parts at the district's public works building.
